What You’ll Do: Trade Sales Leadership: You’ll be responsible for managing and growing our trade accounts. This involves nurturing relationships with trade professionals such as interior designers, decorators, architects, builders, and other industry stakeholders. Customer Relationships: Proactively build and maintain strong relationships with both existing and potential trade customers, ensuring a premium customer experience and fostering long-term loyalty. Account Growth: Identify opportunities for growth within existing accounts and implement strategies to increase trade sales. You’ll also work to identify and onboard new trade customers. Sales Planning: Work with the leadership team to create and implement sales plans that drive revenue and align with business goals. Collaboration: Collaborate closely with our design, marketing, and operations teams to deliver exceptional service to our trade clients. Reporting: Use CRM tools and ERP systems to track performance metrics, manage customer data, and generate sales reports. Furniture Expertise: While experience in the furniture industry is highly desirable, we’re primarily looking for someone with a passion for furniture, design, and interiors who understands the needs of trade professionals. What It Takes: Experience: Proven experience in trade sales, account management, or a similar customer-facing role. Experience in the furniture, interiors, or design industries is highly desirable. Industry Knowledge: An understanding of the needs and buying habits of trade customers, such as designers, architects, and builders. Familiarity with specifying furniture is a bonus. CRM Expertise: Experience using a CRM to manage customer relationships and sales pipelines is highly sought after. Relationship Builder: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build and nurture strong professional relationships. Organizational Skills: Highly organized with strong time-management skills, capable of managing multiple accounts and tasks simultaneously. Tech Savvy: Experience using ERP systems and reporting tools is a bonus. Passion for Design: A genuine love for interiors, furniture, premium materials, and premium design.
