The Opportunity As a Network and Systems Administrator at Austal Ships, you’ll support ICT and OT data networks, ensuring resilience, performance, and security. You’ll maintain ICT systems and network infrastructure, troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and safeguard against threats, ensuring seamless operations and data integrity. What’s Involved Set up, configure, and manage both corporate ICT and OT networks, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance. Provide ongoing operational support, including troubleshooting and maintaining network systems, while contributing to project initiatives for network upgrades and system implementations. Continuously monitor network performance, traffic, and system health to identify potential issues and ensure efficient operation. Provide technical support for users, resolve connectivity issues, and ensure systems are functioning as expected. Support of ICT Cloud based and on premise systems. Day to day operations and project support. Essential You’ll need: Technical University or TAFE qualification. CCNA. Hands-on experience supporting Cisco switches. Hands-on experience supporting firewalls. Cybersecurity Knowledge - Ability to apply knowledge of IP security technologies in IT/OT environments. Experience supporting modern Wintel environment. Desirable Experience in a similar role in a related industry. CCNP. Experience in Operational Technology (OT). Fortigate, Cisco Meraki experience. Microsoft Azure experience.
