We're on the hunt for a passionate Network Capacity Optimisation Manager to revolutionize how we allocate resources, balance priorities, and maximize distribution center (DC) potential. As the Network Capacity Optimisation Manager , you’ll be the architect of efficiency, orchestrating the strategic allocation of products and flows across our supply chain network. With competing priorities from multiple business units, your expertise will ensure smooth operations, measurable performance, and cost-effective outcomes. This isn’t just about managing today—it’s about shaping the future of supply chain excellence. In this Role You Will Craft and execute strategies to optimize product allocation across our network. Analyse and improve pick slot utilization and reserve turnover in our DCs. Partner with business units to balance competing needs for DC space and resources. Conduct regular network assessments and recommend innovations. Develop and monitor KPIs, ensuring actionable insights drive results. Lead continuous improvement initiatives that enhance capacity and efficiency. Use analytics to support strategic decisions and recommendations. Influence and guide stakeholders across various teams. Contribute to business cases for DC upgrades and strategic planning. You’re Likely a Match If You Have Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or related field. Deep understanding of supply chain principles, cost modelling techniques, and financial modelling. Familiarity with industry trends and best practices in supply chain optimization. 5-7 years of experience in supply chain management, with a strong focus on optimization, KPI development, and cross-functional leadership. Proven success in managing projects within complex, dynamic environments, including wholesale, retail, or similar sectors. Life at Metcash Experience a supportive and flexible work environment.
