Network Engineer – Office Relocation Initial 6-month contract + possibility of extension! Flexible working arrangements A leading Federal Government department is looking to engage an experienced Network Engineer to support the IT infrastructure for a major office relocation. The successful Network Engineer will have expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure while ensuring high performance and security. The successful Network Engineer will be offered a 6-month contract with a possibility of extension ! The successful Network Engineer will be responsible for, but not limited to: Designing and implementing the IT network infrastructure for the Agency’s new Canberra office. Installing, configuring, and maintaining network hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls. Troubleshooting and resolving network issues, ensuring optimal performance and security. The successful Network Engineer will have experience in the following: Advanced expertise with Cisco switches and at least 3 years of experience in IT infrastructure networking. Proven experience in network design, troubleshooting, Wi-Fi configuration, and managing fibre optics, switching, and routing. Knowledge and experience in network infrastructure for office relocation projects. Desirable qualifications include CCNA/CCNP certification and tertiary qualifications in IT or Computer Science.
