About the role Reporting to the Head of Planning and Network Performance, this role will expertly support Tennis Australia’s planning for facility development and venue management and will develop reporting on priority initiatives in these areas as well as for Participation more broadly. It will add significant value to key stakeholders, especially Member Associations and deliverers of tennis, providing education, support and resources to drive excellence in the support of these groups. It also leads the planning work for Participation, including the provision of targeting information to Member Associations to enable the successful delivery of the Game On strategy. Establish and implement a national framework to support MA facilities plans, including venue benchmarking based on infrastructure, performance and demographic data. Manage the implementation of best practice reporting and visualization frameworks for participation, including requirements gathering, design, and execution, to monitor key participation trends, metrics, and OKRs/KPIs. Develop and implement an automated Local Government Area (LGA) performance plan to empower TA and MA’s to seek funding from State and local governments towards future Tennis initiatives. Provide strategic analysis and insights into Tennis initiatives and support a data-led approach to planning for internal TA teams and MA’s, including supporting a data model that enables reporting and the provision of expert insights. Develop and foster strong working relationships with all teams throughout Tennis Australia, as an active member of the Places to Play team. About you What you will bring to the role: Extensive knowledge of the sport of Tennis. An innate understanding of the commercial and operational workings of the sports industry. Strong presentation and communication skills in both one-on-one and public speaking situations. Experience developing partnerships for the benefit of the growth of sport. Tertiary qualification in Business, Sports Administration or similar (desired). Data science, statistics or analytics experience preferred. You must hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check . What’s in it for you?
