Job Description
Network Security Engineer - Azure Firewall My client is a large well-known financial organization that boasts a great working culture, including hybrid working flexibility between the Sydney office and home. Due to an ongoing large program of work with set delivery timelines, there is a requirement for an experienced contractor to join their Network team and focus on Azure Cloud firewalling. The main focus for this role would be to design and manage firewall and security policies within existing and new environments. Key skills and experience required: Strong background as a Network Engineer, particularly in Network Security, with the ability to design and implement solutions. Experience working within large environments, preferably in financial organizations. Essential skill: Cloud Networking, particularly Azure Virtual Network and Azure Firewalls. Previous background working on migrations/separations would be highly advantageous. Checkpoint experience and/or Palo Alto would also be desirable. Automation - Infrastructure as Code (IaC) highly desirable. Can work from the Sydney office a minimum of 2 days per week.
