Network Engineer Initial 6 Month ContractCouncil Client£450/day (Inside IR35)VOX Consultants is working with a council client on their Network Telephony Project. This role will be responsible for the management of the network infrastructure and resources (including any bought-in services) required to plan for, develop, deliver and support Digital services and products to contribute to the achievement of the Council's corporate objective. This is an initial 6 month contract, paying around £450/day (Inside IR35).Responsibilities: Create and maintain overall network plans to support the Council's business strategy. Agree service level agreements with business users. Plan all aspects of the infrastructure necessary to ensure provision of voice and data network services to meet such agreements. Manage the network infrastructure and resources required to plan for, develop, deliver and support Digital services and products. Prepare for new or changed services, manage the change process, and maintain regulatory, legal and professional standards. Manage performance of network related systems and services in terms of their contribution to business performance and their financial costs and sustainability. Manage bought-in services. Develop continual service improvement plans to ensure the IT infrastructure adequately supports business needs. Requirements: Network Telephony experience is mandatory.
