Purpose Statement: Responsible for attainment of annual sales goals and objectives for all assigned accounts in alignment with overall In-Store Bakery & Deli (ISBD) sales strategy for Texas. Key Accountabilities and Outcomes: Proactively create new selling opportunities specifically focused on accounts. Develop effective retail “pull-thru” marketing programs to support the needs of key leverage retailers. Communicate and coordinate with Regional Sales Managers and Broker Partners to provide service and support to all assigned accounts. Articulate the chain’s value proposition of services and support for enhanced selling at retail. Establish key relationships with senior management, merchandising, operations, procurement, and logistics at assigned customers. Execute and lead annual Business Plan development in conjunction with Corporate and Division objectives, including overall account management and focus on Priority platform placements. Provide direction and leadership to Broker Partners on objectives and profitability expectations. Achieve annual sales goals and objectives. Ensure accurate and timely weekly sales reporting focused on profitable growth with customers, brokers, and marketplace information. Knowledge, Skills, and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business or related field strongly desired. Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, business development, or related field in the Food Industry. Minimum of 3 years experience in retail channel – in-store bakery or deli experience preferred. Excellent negotiation and presentation skills. Solid verbal and written communication skills. Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Solid understanding of P&L's and managing a budget. PC proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM; Salesforce preferred. Willingness to travel 75% to cover the state of TX, including overnight stays as needed. #J-18808-Ljbffr
