Position Overview: As a New Starter Care Receptionist at Champions Gym, you will serve as the first point of contact for our members and visitors, embodying our commitment to exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for ensuring that every individual stepping through our doors feels welcomed, supported, and valued throughout their fitness journey. Your role will encompass a blend of administrative duties, customer engagement, and organisational tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our front desk and enhance the overall member experience. Must be available for these hours: *Position commences on 17th March - 26th AprilMonday - Friday, 4:00pm-8:00pmSaturday, 6:45am-10:15am Key Responsibilities: Greet members, new starters, and visitors with a friendly demeanour, providing a welcoming atmosphere and assisting with any inquiries or concerns. Effectively manage customer inquiries, providing prompt and accurate responses to new starter questions, account inquiries, and product-related queries. Maintain a high-level of organisation at the front desk, ensuring cleanliness, tidiness, and efficient workflow to create a positive first impression for all individuals entering the gym. Assist in sales and retention efforts by promoting membership benefits, offering trial memberships, and upselling additional services or products. Collaborate with coaches and club management to address new starter needs, facilitate smooth transitions between front desk and training areas, and provide seamless customer service. Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the new starter experience, such as organising community events, initiating member outreach initiatives, and implementing feedback-driven improvements. Take ownership of front desk operations, demonstrating initiative, problem-solving skills, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Build rapport with members and new starters by addressing them by their first names, engaging in friendly interactions, and fostering a sense of community within the gym environment. Ensure timely follow-up on new starter requests, payments, and account maintenance to uphold high standards of customer satisfaction and retention. Qualifications: Previous experience in customer service, reception, or hospitality roles preferred. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with people from all walks of life. Exceptional organisational abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Positive attitude, enthusiastic demeanour, and a genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences. Proficiency in basic computer skills and familiarity with administrative tasks such as data entry, scheduling, and managing inquiries. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate the needs of the gym's operation and member base.
