About Mercure Brisbane Spring Hill The Mercure Brisbane Spring Hill is located on the central city fringe, just minutes from the CBD, Brisbane River, Suncorp Stadium and public transport. Overlooking the city skyline and Roma St Parklands, the Hotel features 179 spacious guest rooms with generous open-aired balconies, modern amenities, an outdoor swimming pool, fitness room, and an alfresco-style restaurant and bar. Job Description Your duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Working overnight from 11pm to 7am, with the availability to work shifts across the 7 days, including weekends and public holidays. Conduct daily balancing and reconciliation, across the night audit process. Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests promptly, efficiently and courteously during check-in, check-out and for the duration of our guest’s stay. Maintaining procedures in relation to credit and cash transactions and accounting documentation. Assist guests with luggage and other concierge duties as required. Actively resolve complaints and challenges presented by guests. Qualifications Exceptional customer service experience, preferably within a hotel Front Office department. Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask while maintaining high-level awareness of your surroundings. A naturally confident personality with the ability to approach people and initiate conversation. Competent computer skills (experience in Opera is desirable).
