We are looking for at least 2 RNs wanting to work nights and some day and afternoon shifts at our Cardiff RACF – Groves House. You’ll make a difference at Groves House by: Providing excellent, resident-focused care in relation to specialised nursing needs, such as management of diabetes, wounds, infections, pain, and medications. Maintaining documentation; completing resident assessments, incident investigations, and related care documents in accordance with policies and procedures, meeting accreditation standards. Overseeing the administration of day-to-day tasks as they relate to the provision of clinical care to achieve best resident outcomes and undertaking clinical monitoring of residents, escalating changes as required. Applying sound decision-making skills to make effective use of all resources. Providing employees with clear direction and guidance and actively promoting positive working relationships and person-centred practices. To join our excellent team, we are looking for motivated nurses with: A current AHPRA registration (Bachelor of Nursing or higher). At least 2 years’ experience working in Aged Care. The ability to show empathy and treat others with dignity and respect, and a collaborative approach to working with residents, staff, colleagues, and other key stakeholders. An understanding of the aged care legislative framework and requirements, including the Strengthened ACQSC Standards. A high level of accountability for your own work. A friendly and positive attitude with the ability to demonstrate client-focused behaviour. The annual flu immunisation and commitment to receiving each year, as well as up-to-date Covid vaccines. Current cleared police check (desirable; however, we will pay for one). Right to work in Australia (possible sponsorship opportunity for the right candidate). Why CBCS?
