Nurse Clinical Specialist – Community Mental Health Team Nurse Level 4 RDO (Remuneration Package Range $140,786 - $151,125) Mental Health Alcohol and Other Drugs, Central Australia Region Alice Springs Fixed vacancy available for 6 months Alice Springs Hospital has a catchment area of over 1,000,000 km2. We care for some of the nation’s most socially disadvantaged people, with high levels of morbidity and mortality, many with diseases not seen elsewhere in the country. An opportunity exists for a Nurse with Mental Health Alcohol and Other Drugs, Central Australia Region. As part of a multidisciplinary team, provide clinical services in Community Mental Health as a Nurse Clinical Specialist to Mental Health Alcohol and Other Drugs, Central Australian Region clients. The clinician will undertake a Case Management role in a multidisciplinary team utilising prior extensive experience in mental health community settings to conduct a range of assessments and provide therapeutic interventions and education on mental health issues to clients and family members. The role requires a strong cultural safety framework, a commitment to evidence-based practice and experience working as an autonomous practitioner.
