The Team: The Aged Care Reform Unit works with the Tasmanian Health Service and the Aged Care Sector to improve and streamline care for older Tasmanians. The Role: Contributes to achievement of the objectives and outcomes of the Aged Care Reform Unit (ACRU), including the delivery of statewide program priorities, projects and workplan activities. Supports the efficient and effective provision of innovation and integrated care models, based on clinical standards and best practice principles within a collaborative and multi-disciplinary framework. You will need: Demonstrated advanced knowledge, skills and experience in relation to patient access and flow issues. Capability to focus on understanding the business of the organisation, patient access and flow issues, and delivering the best outcomes within the available resources. Capacity to persevere to achieve goals even in the face of obstacles, cope effectively with disappointments and setbacks, and remain calm and in control under pressure. Details of appointment: Fixed term full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible for a period of approximately twelve (12) months. *notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant. Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies. Salary: $122,365 to $129,060 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount. Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023. In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available: Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10% based on qualification type. Essential Criteria: Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse. Current Working with Vulnerable People Registration.
