Queensland Health (Organisation site ( ) )Logan Hospital Metro South Addiction and Mental Health Services, Child and Youth Mental Health Service is looking for a Nurse Navigator to join their team. CYMHS Acute Response Team provides comprehensive and flexible specialist mental health assessment and liaison service to the Logan Hospital and Redland Hospital Emergency Departments and paediatric ward, in regard to children, adolescents and their families/carers in accordance with professional, ethical and National Mental Health Standards, utilising broad, developing clinical experience in the field of child and youth mental health. About the Role Highly specialised clinical, nursing skills, knowledge and experience in order to effectively provide, manage and lead contemporary child and youth mental health nursing practice and health services. The Nurse Navigator participates in reflective clinical practice, mentorship/clinical supervision monthly. Advanced level of autonomous clinical and professional practice. Advanced level of decision making in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team. Undertake operational leadership.
