Bayside Health Service provides services within the hospital and community setting such as Emergency Care, Primary Health and Minor Injury Care, Acute and subacute medicine, general surgery, maternity and paediatric, mental specialist outpatient and mental health care. The Emergency Department sees approximately 56,000 adult and paediatric presentations per year with an admission rate of approximately 18%. Job details Position status: Permanent Position type: Part-time Occupational group: Health - Nursing Classification: Nurse Grade 8 Workplace Location Job ad reference: QLD/MS02616404 Closing date: 23-Feb-2025 Job duration: Permanent, Part Time (64 hours per fortnight) About the Role Provide expert clinical leadership in development and evaluation of guidelines, protocols, procedures, standards and systems of work as set by the organisation and governing bodies in collaboration with the health care team. Demonstrate advanced co-ordination of staff and utilisation of unit resources to optimise service delivery and compliance with the Business Planning Framework. Demonstrate a high level of communication and interpersonal skills, incorporating the ability to consult, liaise and negotiate with all levels of staff and clients within the health care team in a rapidly changing environment. Apply change management principles and act as a change agent in the implementation of change strategy within Bayside Health Service.
