In this position, you will leverage your clinical knowledge and experience to provide essential leadership, line management, and coordination of nursing activities in BreastScreen SA while also working within a dynamic multidisciplinary team. Your focus will be on ensuring continuity, quality care and optimal outcomes for clients within BreastScreen SA. You will also hold accountability for the outcomes of nursing practices and multidisciplinary approaches. This includes addressing any inconsistencies between practice and policy, fostering team performance, and cultivating a positive work culture to enhance client experience and outcomes. About You We are seeking a dynamic and experienced nursing professional with a passion for leadership, quality care, and a focus on Breast Screening services. Experience in Breast Screening is highly desirable and will enable you to make a significant contribution to improving health outcomes in this specialised area. Strong Leadership and Teamwork Skills: Proven ability to lead teams, resolve conflicts, promote innovation, and foster a positive work environment that develops staff potential. Clinical Expertise and Experience: Registered Nurse with at least 3 years post-registration experience, demonstrated competence in nursing practice, and experience in supervising and mentoring staff, particularly in Breast Screening services. Commitment to Quality and Consumer Engagement: Demonstrated ability to lead change management initiatives, promote consumer engagement, and improve care models. Knowledge of Standards and Practices: Comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation, standards, codes, and contemporary nursing and healthcare issues, including the BreastScreen National Accreditation standards. About us Statewide Clinical Support Services (SCSS) is a unique public healthcare organisation that serves health consumers and provides specialist clinical services to the health system in South Australia. SCSS encompasses BreastScreen SA, SA Dental, SA Medical Imaging, SA Pathology, and SA Pharmacy. BreastScreen SA BSSA is a population-based screening program, providing more than 100,000 free screening mammograms (breast X-rays) each year to South Australian women primarily aged 50 to 74, with the aim of reducing mortality and morbidity from breast cancer through early detection of the disease.
