Our GC Geriatric Evaluation and Management (GEM) Unit is a specialised 24 bed ward that plays a vital role in providing high-quality care in a supportive and dynamic environment to optimise the functioning and independence of older people after an acute hospital stay. The 6 bed Dementia Management Unit, located within GC GEM, aims to provide a specialist treatment program for older people living with the behaviours and psychological symptoms of Dementia. Both units provide comprehensive multidisciplinary management to support independence and enablement to provide the best opportunity to return to community living. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) with a passion for caring for older people to lead our team.
