We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Unit Manager (Level 1) to join our team at Nolan House , a mental health inpatient unit based at Albury Base Hospital . In this dynamic leadership role, you will oversee the daily operations of the unit, support staff development, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. What We’re Looking For We are actively seeking candidates who meet the following criteria: Qualifications & Experience Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse Postgraduate qualification in Mental Health Nursing (Diploma or Master’s preferred) Extensive clinical experience in mental health nursing Previous leadership or management experience in a healthcare setting Desirable Experience in managing resources, and staffing within a healthcare setting Understanding of contemporary mental health policies and practices Experience in change management and service development Skills & Attributes Strong leadership and decision-making skills Ability to foster a positive and supportive team environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to continuous quality improvement and patient safety Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities Employment Type: This is a Full Time / Part Time opportunityFor further details, please refer to the Position Description or alternatively contact Cindy Vangalen at for a confidential discussion.
