PRIMARY DETAIL Salary Package: $130,827 (Nurse Unit Manager, Level 1) plus SuperannuationAppointment Type: Full Time, Continuing roleLocation: Macquarie University Hospital, Wallumattagal Campus, Dharug land, North Ryde The Role Macquarie University Hospital has an exciting position for a Nurse Unit Manager to lead operating services for the MQ Health Orthopaedic Institute’s Pre-op, Anaesthetics and Recovery Team. Reporting to the Service Manager, your contribution will be essential towards the Hospital achieving optimal patient outcomes and delivering high quality nursing care through your effective skills in management and mentorship. In this role, you will be responsible for the oversight of day-to-day activities of the Pre-op, Anaesthetics and Recovery Unit, ensuring smooth unit operations whilst managing staff. The role ensures a quality, evidence-based practice and a cost-effective service are delivered within a safe patient and team environment.
