Nursing Director, Nursing and Midwifery Workforce The Metro South Health, Executive Director Nursing and Midwifery Division are looking for a Nursing Director - Nursing and Midwifery Workforce to join their team. The Metro South Health (MSH) Executive Director Nursing and Midwifery (EDNM) Division provides overarching governance, leadership, strategic support and guidance for the Nursing and Midwifery professions across the health service. The Nursing and Midwifery Workforce team provides strategic and operational leadership and direction for driving workforce efficiencies, supporting the nursing and midwifery professional stream to create a workforce that will meet demands of the future. About the Role Provide contemporary strategic, operational and professional nursing and midwifery leadership and management for the Nursing and Midwifery Workforce team within an expansive and/or complex environment. In collaboration with the Executive Director Nursing and Midwifery, the role provides the coordination and responsibility for service delivery, human and material management, expertise in health care team communication and highly developed data analysis and fiscal management to deliver safe, quality, effective and efficient healthcare provision. Demonstrate knowledge of contemporary nursing midwifery practice, standards, legislation and health care management with ability to monitor and report compliance with legal requirements governing healthcare and professional standards relevant to nursing and midwifery professions. Demonstrate highly developed interpersonal skills including conflict resolution, negotiation, consultation and communication skills to deal with the needs and concerns of internal stakeholders and health service partners, including the ability to manage people and situations flexibly and responsively.
