In this role, you will be responsible for caring for primary school-aged children within a dedicated space. The centre strives to provide a holistic program that fosters children’s growth and development in a nurturing, natural environment. The Role As an Assistant Coordinator, your passion for childcare will shine through in your compassionate, friendly approach to interacting with children. You will be responsible for: Acting as the responsible person for the service, ensuring all operations run smoothly. Providing a safe and supportive OSHC environment for children and staff. Managing attendance records and casual booking schedules to ensure child safety and proper supervision. Overseeing and supporting other educators to ensure they understand and fulfill their responsibilities. Assisting with the development and implementation of creative, educational programs, along with maintaining observations and reflection journals. Creating opportunities to share children’s experiences with families and celebrate their engagement in programs. Building and maintaining strong relationships with families and the wider school community. This is a permanent, part-time position offering 33 hours per week . About You To be considered for this role, you should have: A qualification in Child Education and Care (or be working towards one). Previous experience in Out of School Hours Care (OSHC). A certificate in Child Protection training. Current First Aid certification. A valid NSW Working with Children Check, or the willingness to obtain one.
