Job Description Unique entry level OSHC Management opportunity within the education sector! Assist in leading a team of Educators with support & training provided. Develop your leadership skills!Our Outside School Hours Care service, Xavier OSHClub , is looking for a passionate Assistant Coordinator to assist with managing the service and providing engaging programs for our primary-age children. This is a permanent part-time opportunity offering 32 hours per week to assist with leading a team of passionate Educators. You'll work split shifts, supporting our Monday-Friday hours: 6:30am-9:00am (Rise then Shine) and 2:00pm-6:00pm (Stay and Play). Extra hours are also available during school holidays! About the role Get ready for an exciting opportunity to co-manage a dynamic team of Educators, where you’ll experience the perfect blend of support and leadership growth! You’ll lead a vibrant before and after-school program at a primary school, guiding children aged 5-12 through fun and enriching activities. With the backing of a dedicated state-specific office and the mentorship of regional managers who visit regularly, you’ll be empowered to shine in your role while developing your skills as a leader. It’s your chance to make a real impact while being part of a supportive, high-energy team! Develop and facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into! Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents. Lead a team of Educators onsite, including roster management. Manage the day-to-day operations of your service including compliance and administration. Who are we looking for? We can teach you about the job and sector, but a few basics you need to have: Enjoys working with children and making a positive impact. Communicates clearly and confidently. Works well in a team and aspires to grow into a leadership role. Holds (or is willing to obtain) a National Police Check and a Working with Children check. Has Australian work rights. Obtained or studying towards a relevant qualification to work with kids in OSHC per ACECQA. What's in it for you?
