Job Description Whether you're experienced in the Education or childcare sector, have done some babysitting, or this is the first time you're thinking about working with children, THIS is the role for you! As an Educator at our Outside School Hours Care Service, South Rock State School Helping Hands , you will join the children in a variety of activities to encourage their curiosity and develop their well-being! Offering 8 hours per week , you will work across before school and after school shifts. About the role Working in a team of Educators, you will have the support of a Coordinator to seamlessly run before and after school care for children aged 5-12 years: Facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into! Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents Work with a team of skilled Educators onsite Who are we looking for? We can teach you about the job and sector, but a few basics you need to have: Enjoy working with kids Strong and clear communication Team player with a desire to become a service leader Hold or willing to obtain a national police check (we'll pay for it!) and a state check for working with children What's in it for you?
