About the Role: Our dynamic Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) service at Jabiru Hendra is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic OSHC Program Educator. In this position, you’ll have the opportunity to deliver enriching activities, fostering a space where children feel safe, included, and excited to learn. As a Program Educator, you'll play a vital role in creating a welcoming environment, building meaningful relationships with children, and working closely with a team of passionate educators. Your creativity and enthusiasm will help make our program diverse, engaging, and fun. Key Responsibilities: Implement and lead age-appropriate, play-based activities that promote learning and social development. Actively supervise children to ensure their safety and wellbeing at all times. Build and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and fellow educators. Collaborate with the team to deliver a high-quality learning experience within the OSHC program. Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming environment. About You: A strong commitment to Jabiru’s purpose of supporting children, young people, and families to thrive. Minimum 6 months of experience engaging school-age children in play-based activities (desirable). Qualified or enrolled into a Certificate III in Education or Childcare or Diploma or Higher qualification in Education, Childcare, Humanities, Allied Health, Sport or similar. Current First Aid, CPR & Asthma/Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain). Valid Working with Children Check (Blue Card). A passion for working with children and supporting their development in a nurturing and engaging way. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
