Department: Children's Services (OSHC & ELC) Type: Casual Posted: 31 January 2025 Closes: 28 February 2025 THE ROLE The Y is seeking passionate and keen Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) Qualified Educators to join us at Reynella Primary School. As an OSHC Educator, you will be responsible for delivering challenging and stimulating programs and activities, fostering a supportive and fun environment, and helping children to develop their social, emotional, and interpersonal skills. You will work closely with the OSHC Service Director, and work with a passionate team. This is a unique and rewarding opportunity to take your career to the next level and make a lasting impact on the lives of children. This role may potentially be negotiated as permanent part-time for suitable candidates. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Successful candidates will also have, or be willing to obtain: ACECQA approved qualification (essential) Certificate of completion for “Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect – Education and Care” Training HLTAID009 CPR HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in Education and Care SMART TrainingKnowledge of responsibilities under Child Safe Environments compliance Sounds knowledge of OSHC Quality Assurance and recognised School Age Care Framework THE BENEFITS The opportunity to join a leading provider of recreation, community, and children’s services.
