Your key responsibilities The OT Analytics Specialist is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Operational Historian (Aveva PI) Systems and solutions to enable real-time data collection, monitoring, and analytics across industrial operations at YVW. Be accountable for the ongoing operation and systems reliability of the complete Historian platforms, including integrations to other YVW systems. Design and configure PI System components, including PI Data Archive, PI Asset Framework (AF), PI Vision, and PI Interfaces. Provide technical leadership in the use of Historian systems, including training of end users, support for systems administration, and represent YVW at industry forums. Support business stakeholders in achieving optimum value from the Historian solutions to solve business needs. Work closely with Engineering, Planning, Operations, IT and other stakeholders. Be responsible for Historian system reliability during business hours and after hours, including the development of necessary people/processes and disaster recovery plans for appropriate support mechanisms utilising internal and external resources. Provide support for all other OT Systems including SCADA, IoT Device Management Platform, Code and Config Repositories, and Historian. These systems are essential for the operation of Water, Sewer and Treatment Plant sites and for monitoring alarms that maintain customer service and environmental impacts. What we’re looking for Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Information Technology, or relevant fields. A bachelor level degree is a pre-requisite. (Essential) Strong Experience and understanding in Operational Historian platforms, such as Aveva OSI PI Historian. (Essential) Understanding in SCADA systems desired, including Aveva EcoStruxures GeoSCADA Expert (ClearSCADA). Strong scripting knowledge in Visual Basic, JavaScript, Python required. Understanding of Application Integration technology such as Mulesoft and relevant scripting knowledge desirable. Understanding of IoT technology and sensors is required (digital water meter and pressure sensor experience desirable). Broad knowledge of industrial control systems, communications, and IoT technologies. Experience in programming, data management, database administration is desired.
