Alpine Resorts Victoria is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Coordinator to join our People and Culture team!As an OHS Coordinator located at Mt Buller, you will play a crucial role in developing, implementing, and monitoring health and safety policies, procedures, and systems to ensure a safe environment. You will provide guidance to colleagues, drive improvements in safety procedures, and resolve operational service delivery challenges within established guidelines.Now is the time to pursue your next career opportunity in the stunning Alpine region, apply today! Key responsibilities: Create a safe working environment by coordinating compliance and risk assessments, conducting site safety assessments, and implementing improvements. Contribute to the development of OHS policies and procedures. Coordinate with the People and Culture team member for Return-To-Work programs, OHS learning & development plans, and personal protective equipment (PPE). Assist and advise management and staff on the implementation of OHS initiatives and programs. Qualifications, skills and experience: Degree qualified/Certificate IV in OHS, Human Resources or related field or equivalent knowledge, skills, and experience. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an OHS or People and Culture role. Completion of Health and Safety Representative (HSR) initial course (or willingness to complete the course) - Desirable. Current First Aid Certificate - Desirable. The successful candidate will be required to: Have full Australian working rights. Currently hold or be willing to obtain a Victorian Employee Working with Children Check. Satisfactorily pass a police check and random drug & alcohol tests. Have an Australian Drivers licence.
