Occupational Therapist - Community Based 3 days ago Be among the first 25 applicants Employment: Permanent position. Full time or Part time hours can be negotiated. Remuneration package: Up to $112,114 + superannuation, laptop, phone, car allowance, CPD allowance. Our salaries are determined based on level of experience using the NSW Health Service Health Professionals (State) Award 2023. Location: Predominantly servicing clients located within Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, and the Lower Hunter. About Us You Therapy Services offers community-based occupational therapy services. While we’ve traditionally focused on NDIS referrals, we’re excited to be expanding into aged care and exploring other funding streams. In addition, we provide general home assessments, functional capacity assessments, assistive technology assessments, and home and living support assessments (SIL, SDA, ILO, priority housing). What You Bring A Bachelor's (or higher) degree in Occupational Therapy with current AHPRA registration. 3+ years’ experience in OT – you’re confident and ready to dive in. Fantastic communication skills and the ability to connect with our team, our clients and stakeholders. A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle – this is a community-based role, after all! A current police check, Working with Children check, and NDIS worker check (or willingness to obtain). Experience or interest in home modifications. Desirable (but not a dealbreaker): Experience with complex home modifications, assistive technology, home and living support assessments, or functional capacity assessments. Skills in technical drawings for home modifications - bonus points if you are familiar with or have used Sketch Up! Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the NDIS and Aged Care systems.
