About the role Join our supportive multidisciplinary Day Program team as an Occupational Therapist and make a real impact through high-quality, evidence-based interventions! You’ll play a key role in assessing clients, delivering individual treatment sessions, leading group classes, and referring clients to ongoing therapy programs. You'll receive valuable clinical supervision from a Senior Occupational Therapist and have ample opportunities for professional development through participation in the discipline’s in-service and evidence-based practice (EBP) programs. Key responsibilities include: Providing high quality, evidence-based, timely Occupational Therapy services to clients to maximise function and performance in activities of daily living that are meaningful to the client. Work collaboratively with members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure that the client receives an integrated service that meets their needs. Attendance and participation at case conferences, goal setting meetings, and family conferences. Support/participate in clinical research conducted by colleagues and other Occupational Therapists conducting multi-centred projects. Provide assessments, treatments and written individual and group therapy programs. About you We seek a self-motivated and friendly individual with: Essential Criteria: Current full Occupational Therapist registration with AHPRA. Experience in working within a rehabilitation framework – Neurological, Orthopaedic, Reconditioning (outpatient). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated commitment to evidence-based practice. Computer literacy. Current C Class (unrestricted) driver’s license. Sound time management, teamwork, flexibility and self-organisation skills. Desirable Criteria: Experience working in a Private Hospital setting. Experience in Oncology Rehabilitation, Complex Neuro Rehab. Experience in quality activities. Interest in clinical research.
