Part-time (negotiable) fixed term position (12 months) with flexible working days Located in Narre Warren Hourly rate Grade 1 - $39.95 to $48.59 / Grade 2 - $48.60 to $58.09 + Super + generous Salary Packaging benefits of up to $18,550 Job Description We have an exciting opportunity for an empathetic and dynamic Occupational Therapist Grade 1 or 2, to join our dedicated team of Mental Health Occupational Therapists and Behaviour Support Practitioners. In partnership with the NDIS, you will provide tailored support to individuals aged 12 to 64 with psychosocial disabilities and co-occurring conditions like autism spectrum disorder and intellectual disability. Your role will involve assessing and delivering individualized interventions primarily through outreach, including home and community visits in the Local Government Areas of Casey, Cardinia, and Dandenong. This position is based in Narre Warren, on the traditional land of the Boon Wurrung & Bunurong Peoples - (Boon Wurrung & Bunurong Nations) About you Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy (Bachelor’s degree minimum) Registration with Australian Practitioners Health Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Current Australian driver’s license and own car Current Police and Working with Children Check A cleared NDIS National Worker Screening Check prior to commencement of employment Knowledge and experience in applying OT practice in community mental health settings Experience with sensory assessment and implementing sensory-based intervention plans Sound knowledge of current theory and practice in occupational therapy Highly developed listening and communication skills Ability to manage own workload and set priorities without supervision What’s in it for you?
