About the role We are seeking applications for a passionate Occupational Therapist with subacute inpatient rehabilitation and complex discharge planning experience to: Join our collaborative, multidisciplinary, subacute inpatient team Work on a 30 bed ward with 3 other OTs and an AHA Provide high quality occupational therapy rehabilitation and complex discharge planning services to our subacute inpatient orthopaedic/general rehab/spinal/trauma and amputee clients Supervise junior staff and students. This role includes a 1:4 Saturday service requirement with associated benefits including penalty rate pay and an extra week of annual leave for working >10 weekend shifts pa. About you A clear and respectful communicator and team worker. Proficient subacute inpatient rehabilitation, pressure injury management and complex discharge planning knowledge and skills. Passionate commitment to evidence based practice, consumer focussed care and accountable for providing a high quality service. Ability to critically analyse own performance and acknowledge responsibility for your own learning. Excellent leadership skills to advocate for consumers, and support junior staff.
