About the role Duties and Responsibilities: This role involves a variety of occupational therapy services provided to NDIS participants. Administering OT assessments across our dynamic caseloads Working in the school, community, and home environments Provision of therapy tailored to NDIS participants to promote best outcomes Functional Capacity Assessments / Supported Independent Living and Specialist Disability Accommodation assessments Assistive Technology Assessments for specialised equipment prescription Completing progress notes/documentation Manual Handling training and education Pressure care education and therapy Sensory assessments and sensory integration focused interventions Opportunity to work in Paediatrics space Therapy and rehabilitation including capacity building interventions for daily living skills Falls Prevention Home modifications (minor and complex home modifications) We welcome Occupational Therapists interested in enhancing their skills in the NDIS space, as our team includes experienced leaders and supervisors ready to provide support & training in this area. We're Looking for Someone Who: Has a Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy or equivalent approved by AHPRA – Full Registration Has a valid Drivers’ license and reliable vehicle Possesses Professional indemnity insurance, or is willing to obtain it Has a valid NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, or is willing to obtain it Has a 2024 Flu Vaccine Certificate, or is willing to obtain it Has a COVID vaccine certificate, or is willing to obtain it Has the ability to work independently in a remote team environment Has experience and skills in NDIS, prescription of assistive technology and home modifications preferred.
