About the Role Canterbury Hospital is committed to providing high quality healthcare services to our local community, focused on patient and family-centred care. Since opening in 1929, our hospital continues to grow to meet the changing needs of our community and incorporate new models of care. Exciting permanent part-time position (12 hours per week) working in a busy post-acute Hand Therapy Service and as part of an MDT Hand Clinic. This position is responsible for referral triage and prioritisation, providing hand therapy interventions, leading best practice and quality improvement. You will provide senior clinical leadership within Occupational Therapy service provision including optimisation of patient/client care delivery, as well as supporting the mentoring and development of staff. Ideal Candidate Bachelor or post-graduate degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy and current registration with AHPRA, with experience at Level 2 or higher. Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge, skill and significant clinical experience in the provision of Occupational Therapy. Demonstrated experience in the provision of clinical supervision, mentoring and development of junior staff and students. Excellent negotiation, decision making and advocacy skills including collaborative stakeholder consultation and current NSW Driver’s Licence (P1 and P2 acceptable). Benefits and Perks!
