Be part of an LHD that promotes and shares opportunities for clinical excellence and learning.Where you'll be working The Occupational Therapy department at Sydney / Sydney Eye and Prince of Wales Hospitals employs up to 40 therapists across acute, rehabilitation and outpatient caseloads. This position will be based at Sydney Hospital primarily in the General Medical ward. The Occupational Therapy department supports clinicians to provide best practice, person-centred care through: Driving innovation and learning Prioritising self-care and wellbeing Clear communication & feedback Valuing teamwork & collaboration This position will be based on the General Medicine ward, providing care to patients with aged and chronic health conditions. You will be provided with clinical supervision and support to ensure your professional development needs are appropriately met. You will be expected to work autonomously and may provide support to other Occupational Therapists working across POWH. Minimum Requirements: Qualifications in accordance with Schedule C of the NSW Health Service Health Professionals (State) Award and Current Registration with AHPRA. Ability to provide in-depth advice and education to enhance service delivery. Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Ability to initiate, lead, complete and share quality improvement initiatives. Demonstrated commitment to ongoing clinical and professional learning. Current Class C Drivers Licence.
