The Team: Glenorchy Community Care Team is a large catchment including the midlands and Derwent valley, Brighton council area and city of Glenorchy. We are a vibrant multidisciplinary team including Lived experience workers, Nurses, Psychologists, Social workers, Occupational therapists, and Psychiatrists. The Role: The Occupational Therapist works with broad administrative and overall clinical direction from the relevant Team Leader, with clinical and professional accountability to the Head of Discipline through the relevant Discipline Senior, professional supervision provided or approved by the Head of Discipline or delegate. You will need: A minimum of two years post graduate employment in a clinical area directly applicable to the Child and Adolescent, Adult Community, Inpatient and Extended Treatment and/or Older Persons Mental Health Service area. Demonstrated clinical knowledge and understanding of mental health in relation to the Child and Adolescent, Adult Community, Inpatient and Extended Treatment and Older Persons Mental Health Service area with the ability to provide appropriate assessment of mental health problems. Demonstrated expertise in the theoretical and practical application of a range of therapeutic interventions relevant to the Child and Adolescent, Adult Community and Older Persons Mental Health Service area with the ability to acquire further expertise into the future. Details of appointment: Permanent, full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible. *notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant. Salary: $110,425 to $121,907 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount. Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement No. 2 of 2022. Salary Packaging: You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible. Please note that access to salaries beyond $119,290 is subject to qualifications and/or application to the personal upgrade scheme. In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available: Professional Development Allowance of up to $1000 per annum. Benefits available to eligible candidates: Travel and relocation assistance support available up to $15,000 for eligible appointees from overseas, and up to $10,000 for appointees from interstate.
