Job Description We are currently seeking an experienced or graduate Occupational Therapist to join our team in the Wollongong region on a permanent full-time or part-time opportunity, to provide occupational therapy services to support individuals with vision impairment to develop, enhance and maintain independence in their desired activities of daily living. As the leading provider in Australia of guide dogs and orientation and mobility services for people with vision loss, our team has a focus on holistic services provision where our KPIs are based on client-facing hours rather than billable hours. Key knowledge & skills: Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy, and current registration with AHPRA Excellent communication skills including the ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with clients and others Excellent time management and organisation skills with an ability to be flexible to adapt to varying workloads and caseload demands Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team, ensuring that performance targets are met Attention to detail and skills in analysis, planning and problem solving Sound skills in utilising computer applications and modern technology A current unrestricted drivers' licence and good driving records Willingness to obtain a Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker check Benefits that Guide Dogs offer: A competitive remuneration package is available commensurate with skills and experience, which includes tax-free salary packaging of up to $15,900.
