Oceania Sales Manager About the Opportunity We're excited to announce a new opportunity in Australia for an Oceania Sales Manager to join the Tait Communications Asia Pacific team on a permanent basis, reporting directly to the Director of Sales & Business Development, Tait Asia Pacific. In collaboration with the Director of Sales & Business Development, you will be responsible for shaping and executing the sales strategy across Australia, Papua New Guinea, New Zealand, and the Pacific Islands (collectively the Oceania region). This role plays a key part in structuring and professionally managing sales development activities to align with Tait's broader company strategy. As part of the role, you will drive initiatives to achieve Tait's business objectives and expand market share in Oceania and will oversee a regional sales and channel team, ensuring alignment with customer needs, market opportunities, and overall business targets across the Oceania region. Key Responsibilities Sales Leadership & Team Development Achieve or exceed regional sales targets. Provide daily leadership and supervision to the Oceania sales team. Manage individual sales targets across the Oceania sales team and provide regular feedback to the Director of Sales & Business Development on performance. Identify skill gaps and staffing needs to support business growth and share insights with the Director of Sales & Business Development on performance for regional planning. Offer coaching and ensure adherence to CRM standards, actively participating in the sales process to improve success rates. Foster a strong sales culture by embedding company sales processes and tools within the team. Sales Strategy & Development Support the Director of Sales & Business Development in developing and implementing an annual sales plan to expand market share in core and adjacent markets. Provide leadership in business development, leveraging industry expertise to drive market growth. Identify competitive differentiators for Tait's products and solutions based on market insights and customer feedback. Collaborate with the Marketing Director, Asia Pacific, to develop and execute regional marketing plans. Direct, monitor, and support major strategic sales and business development opportunities in the region. About You You'll be joining a dynamic team passionate about our products and brand. We are looking for a Sales Manager who will drive revenue growth by developing strategic sales initiatives, building strong customer relationships, and leading successful campaigns targeting mission-critical organizations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales leadership, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to craft compelling sales strategies. Experience in team management, business development, and data-driven decision-making is highly valued. To excel in this role, you will need: At least 10 years related sales/marketing experience preferably within the Telecommunications industry with all relevant tertiary qualifications in technical/business areas.
