We have a one-of-a-kind position on offer for an Office & Executive Operations Partner , who will take ownership of managing a variety of high-impact areas for our business, including EA to our CEO, ensuring the smooth running of our Sydney CBD office and other Gumtree Group locations, building and delivering workplace events and working within the people and culture team to bring the vibe and elevate experiences for our people. Here’s some of what you’ll do in this role: Executive Assistance end to end to our CEO (approx 30% of the job, but a critical part that requires experience in the same or similar role) Manage office operations end-to-end (including office-specific WHS, fire wardens, first aid) Build, design and flawlessly execute workplace events including building and delivering an events calendar Build a refreshed social committee that wants to champion initiatives with you Be THE gift wizard and snacks connoisseur Be the ‘go-to’ on all things ‘vibe’ taking our workplace to the next level while improving all office processes and procedures Manage key milestone processes and organisation of these with leaders Work closely with P&C onboarding new starters, owning part of this process (onboarding set up and coordination, gifting, preparing space, supporting leads in scheduling and connecting) Draft employee or company communication using inclusive language, and reviewing comms or posts with P&C Manage and update our contracts management system and database A whole bunch of office management things that you’ll no doubt identify as you go! What we would love you to bring: A minimum of 4 years experience in the same or similar position, ideally in corporate and or tech scale-ups (fast-paced) Experience in working with an executive, including delivering various board needs from time to time - upholding confidentiality and knowing how to navigate that world Experience partnering with a P&C team managing the community activities and purpose work as part of events and communicating these via the right channels, including socials Experience managing all facets of offices, and the admin that goes with it Experience working with an executive team and organising schedules, meetings and connection points Natural negotiation skills, comfortable managing a budget, including assessing cost or improvement areas People, vibe, and culture is your thing, your passion area and you naturally enjoy learning about people, their names, and their history and pride yourself on finding out the little details to help create incredible workplace experiences Confidence when speaking in front of others and introducing events - you are the energy You are proactive with a can-do attitude, your mindset is all about how we make things great You won’t miss a beat, detail-oriented self-starter with motivation and next-level energy, happy to tackle new projects and ideas, with a strong bias for action You love creating decks on brand, communicating initiatives and being ahead of the game when it comes to planning what’s ahead Advocate for inclusion Experience working with Google Suite (including managing diaries and schedules), Slack, engagement systems, and social platforms is considered highly beneficial What’s on offer: Competitive compensation package + annual bonus 24/7 access for you and your family to Sonder - our employee care program A healthy work-life balance, hybrid working environment, and incredible office locations Option to work from anywhere for up to 4 weeks per year A monthly $150 allowance to support your chosen health insurance policy Access to significant health insurance discounts through Bupa 20 weeks of paid parental and 12 weeks for our secondary caregivers Learning and development budget to help you level up An additional day off for your birthday Lots of events (there is something for everyone), which you’ll be bringing to life!
