We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Office Manager and Board Secretary to join our team. This role involves overseeing administrative operations and serving as Board Secretary, ensuring the smooth governance and compliance of the cooperative. Key Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day administrative operations to ensure efficiency and accuracy. Manage accounts payable/receivable, payroll support, and general financial administration. Serve as Board Secretary, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with governance requirements. Act as the key liaison between the board, management, and members. Maintain accurate records and assist in improving processes and systems. Handle member inquiries with professionalism, delivering outstanding customer service. Contribute to cooperative-wide projects and initiatives to support business growth. What We’re Looking For Proven experience in a senior administrative role, with board secretarial experience being highly regarded. Knowledge of governance practices and compliance obligations (or willingness to learn). Exceptional organisational and multitasking skills, with high attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with accounting systems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and take initiative while collaborating effectively with a team. A background or interest in the agricultural sector is desirable but not essential.
