Attractive pro-rated salary and employee perks! The Royal Motor Yacht Club (RMYC) has a part-time (4 days) parental leave contract opportunity for an Office & Memberships Manager . Reporting to the CEO, and a valuable member of the Club Leadership Team, you will oversee memberships, boating communities & associated events, sponsorships, and a small team of reception, race officers, and Mini Mariners Coaches to enhance the member experience at our prestigious Club. Exciting times ahead! Over the next 12 months, RMYC is undergoing a major renovation, and this role will be instrumental in keeping our members engaged and ensuring smooth Club administration to support our evolving operations. What You Will Do Support & Engage Our Boating Community – Manage and coordinate the seven boating divisions, building strong relationships with a focus on positive member experience, ensuring smooth operations, communication, and event planning. Plan & Deliver Club Events – Organise and execute key member events such as regattas, fundraisers, and presentation dinners, ensuring they are successful and enjoyable for members. Manage Partnerships & Sponsorships – Maintain strong relationships with sponsors, seek new partnership opportunities, and maximise sponsorship value. Oversee Membership & Reception Teams – Lead the small dynamic administration team to provide exceptional customer service and ensure smooth day-to-day Club operations. Ensure Compliance & Safety – Oversee safety audits, boat registrations, and risk assessments for on-water events. About You Previous demonstrated experience in membership management, events, or office administration is essential. Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks. Excellent communication skills , both written and verbal. Experience in sponsorship management and/or knowledge of the boating industry is desirable but not essential.
