The position roster is 5 days on site, 2 days off, 4 days on site and 3 days off. Alternate rosters can be discussed on a flexible work arrangement. What’s in it for you? Employee Share Plan Employee recognition Program that really gives back Matched Super Contributions Employee Discounts and Novated Leasing About the Role Reporting to the Superintendent GTS Rail Rolling Stock and Mechanical, we are seeking a talented and motivated engineering professional to provide technical support and governance for locomotive and rail mounted vehicle onboard systems. Work will include: Provide technical expertise and assurance to improve and protect BHP assets Govern the Operation’s blueprint and validate blueprint information at project handovers Validate the asset integrity of critical equipment Assess and execute engineering requests and assessments Set and govern engineering standards and specifications for the Operation Provide technical and assessment expertise in support of material risk management Govern the management of change process for the Operation’s blueprint Conduct operational audits to verify conformance to key operational standards. The team has a strong focus on technical development, and mentoring from experienced team members will be provided as required. About You An overriding commitment to safety and risk management A degree in Mechatronic or Electrical Engineering; or other relevant qualifications Relevant industry experience Good understanding of engineering standards, regulations, and procedures Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to work with a diverse range of stakeholders effectively Excellent attention to detail Ability to work both autonomously and within a group Proficiency and confidence to facilitate meetings and present in both written and oral formats Applications Close : 13th February 2025 About Our Process At BHP, we are committed to employing individuals who align with the BHP Charter Values and meet the requirements of the role.
