Latrobe Regional Health (LRH) is looking for a dedicated and experienced Nurse Unit Manager Oncology to join our friendly team on an ongoing, full time basis . The Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) will ensure that the service delivered, within a multidisciplinary environment reflects current best practice and is of the highest standard. The care delivered must be patient centred and delivered in an efficient and effective manner. The NUM is responsible for all areas of the operational performance of the department including managing budget and key performance indicators as determined by the Department of Health (DH) and Latrobe Regional Health (LRH) executive. About you Ideal candidates for this role will have: Current Registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with AHPRA. Relevant Postgraduate qualification in speciality area (or enrolled/working towards) is desirable. Strong leadership skills and demonstrated ability to lead a team. Sound clinical knowledge, skills and a minimum five (5) years clinical experience. Highly developed interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a multidisciplinary service delivery framework. Commitment to ongoing professional development and training. Evidence of recent professional development.
