Our client is a global market leader in the technology space and we have an exciting opportunity for an innovative, driven and analytical candidate to join their Gift Cards team. This role will focus on driving traffic to the site via onsite merchandising and email marketing and managing the gift cards selection across occasions and formats. Role responsibilities: Be a passionate advocate for customers and help ensure a thorough and intuitive user experience. Establish and create a world-class destination for Gift Cards, including homepage(s), browse structures, search indexes, promotional and merchandising strategies. Own key traffic drivers (such as email marketing) for the category. Plan, coordinate, & execute marketing initiatives across channels: email, push, on site, & on device. Drive site improvements and new campaigns to completion by coordinating with designers, marketers, legal and other merchandisers. Plan and execute the marketing calendar. This includes email programs, new releases, cross-category placements, developing and executing Amazon site-wide events. Understand and use merchandising and customer-facing metrics to guide decision making. Track and analyse customer needs based on customer behaviours including searching, browsing and purchasing, identifying problems and opportunities and responding accordingly, engaging the cross-functional team where necessary. Analyse traffic patterns and optimise for seasonality and manage selection accordingly. Regularly develop, test and analyse new merchandising tactics that sell products across all categories and increase conversion rates, documenting the results and sharing best practices with the team. The successful candidate will have: Background in brand building and/or new product marketing with some exposure to online merchandising. Solid understanding of both paid and organic traffic channels like SEO, SEM, Affiliates, Email marketing, etc. Strong quantitative skills with the ability to scale across a variety of activities. Demonstrated experience in designing marketing campaigns built on an understanding of consumers’ triggers and barriers to purchase. Experience in writing and copy editing. Balance between creative and analytical thinking. Proficiency with CMS and ability to edit basic HTML and XML. Intermediate-Advanced MS Excel. #J-18808-Ljbffr
