As Open Space Project Officer, you will play a leading role in the transformation and improvement of City of Stonnington parks and open spaces. With your excellent eye for detail and commitment to best practice open space maintenance and presentation, you will play a central role in identifying opportunities for open space improvements and upgrades. Working closely with the parks maintenance team, other teams across Council and external contractors, you will assist with the delivery of a program of projects to enhance the quality and presentation of our high value open spaces. This is a permanent full-time position with an annual salary range of $79,222 - $90,806 per annum + 11.5% superannuation. Desired Skills and Experience Considerable experience in the planning, procurement, delivery and management of open space projects Demonstrated understanding of contemporary open space design, maintenance, renewal and presentation An eye for detail and demonstrated commitment to best practice open space maintenance and presentation Practical knowledge and experience relating to open space asset maintenance and renewal Project management skills and direct experience in the preparation of detailed contract work briefs and specifications Knowledge and experience in contractor procurement and management Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the requirements of maintaining and renewing park assets in a diverse range of open space settings For enquiries relating to the system and the application process, please contact a member of the Talent Acquisition team on 8290 1333.
