Competitive salary $130,000 - $140,000 Not for Profit - Generous Salary Sacrifice options Amazing State of the Art hospital ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE: An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Theatre leader to join our professional, experienced, and dynamic team in our hospital. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for operational delivery of services across the Theatre department while working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to maintain a customer-focused approach to delivering exceptional care. Theatres include General Surgery, Ortho, Obstetrics & Gynae, Ophthalmology, Paediatrics, Urology & Plastics. The successful candidate will work closely with their Manager to ensure Key Performance Indicators are met, strategic objectives are delivered, and business growth is achieved, whilst delivering excellent clinical care for Theatre patients. This role will be full-time, working 38 hours per week, and will be pivotal in the delivery of outstanding Theatre Services. A great work-life balance ABOUT YOU: As an outstanding Theatre Nurse Unit Manager, you are a Registered Nurse with AHPRA, an experienced leader in a Theatre setting for at least 2 years, and have post-graduate qualifications or are working towards them. Your skills and roles will include: Providing overall management of the Theatre unit to maximise effective business and patient outcomes. 2 years minimum management experience. Establishing, developing, and maintaining effective relationships with staff, customers, Visiting Medical Practitioners (VMPs), patients, families, and significant others. Providing direction, support, and advice to nursing staff and other support personnel. Developing and maintaining a budget and interpreting performance data for reporting purposes.
