Operational Risk, Quality Assurance and Compliance Manager Our client is an established and growing brand that provides businesses with cost-saving services.The environment can be best described as start-up, technology-focused, dynamic, and energetic. This role reports to one of the Directors and the Chief Operating Officer and will be responsible for ensuring that operational risks and controls are managed, implemented, and efficient. The successful candidate will manage a small team of QA staff locally, with some based overseas. Some of the responsibilities in this role will include: Assessing and integrating regulatory, external requirements, and technology change seamlessly. Liaising with external and internal stakeholders to design optimal processes to enable an efficient and positive customer experience. Performing ongoing reviews of company policies, compliance training, audits, controls, and processes aiming for continuous improvement and business optimisation. Providing a compliance and operations lens on anticipated regulatory, project, and/or technology change. Establishing ownership and accountability on external partners and internal business units – specifically KPIs, sales submissions, and removing friction in day-to-day processes. Managing Quality Assurance and Customer Care team members (total circa 2-5 staff). The Ideal Candidate This is a highly autonomous and hands-on role with a broad remit to maintain the standards and continuously improve quality assurance, compliance, and the risk framework to ensure alignment with partners/suppliers. Some of the skills and attributes of the successful candidate will include: Operational Risk, Compliance, or Quality Assurance experience (3-5 years). Exposure to an operations/call centre or sales environment (ideal). Open to any industries e.g., utilities, energy, financial services, service providers (i.e., call centres, etc.). Hands-on and thrive in a young, dynamic environment. Drive and energy – this role will work with the executive team of this growing business. Finally, you will need a curious and pragmatic approach – you can apply risk management, quality assurance, and controls to any environment and process.
