Operational Services Officer - Hughenden Townsville Hospital and Health Service is the public healthcare provider for the government areas of Townsville, Burdekin, Charters Towers, Flinders, Richmond, Hinchinbrook and Palm Island; operating 21 facilities from primary care in regional locations to highly specialised care at the main hospital. Hughenden Multipurpose Health Service is an acute facility with 24-hour emergency and general medical care, with six long-stay nursing home-type beds. About the opportunity: Position: Operational Services Officer Vacancy: Casual (Multiple Positions) The Operational Service Officer Hughenden is responsible for providing efficient provision of laundry, cleaning, and catering services at Hughenden Multipurpose Health Service. Enjoy a generous remuneration package including: Salary range: $39.05 to $41.66 p.h. Requirements: The possession of a licence to operate (Class C) vehicle would be considered desirable but is not mandatory. National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Screening Check: As a Health Care worker in Queensland Health who engages in risk-assessed roles, you must hold a current disability check (Yellow Card or Yellow Card Exemption) or an NDIS worker screening check, in accordance with Part 5 of the Disability Services Act 2006 (Qld). This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role. Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Tuberculosis. Probation period may apply.
