Key Responsibilities Undertaking review of client quarry operations to assist with site operations including optimisation Undertaking site safety inspections including safety systems reviews and audits Preparation of safety system documentation – SWMS, Risk Assessments, Standard Operating Procedures Report writing and documentation Support Technical Director – Resources and Operations in the delivery of projects Manage key client relationships and understand client needs and services Preparation of fee estimates Meeting project deadlines Assist clients in matters relating to regulatory requirements and notices Provision of advice to clients where applicable on technical and operational matters relating to the quarry and extractive industry Skills & Experience RII50120 Diploma of Surface Operations Management/ Surface Extraction or equivalent Engineering qualifications Relevant Health & Safety qualifications or demonstrated experience Relevant legislative knowledge of the Mining and Quarrying Safety and Health Act 1999 and Mining and Quarrying Safety and Health Regulation 2017 and Work Health and Safety (Mines and Petroleum Sites) Act 2013 Site Senior Executive Notice (Mining and Quarrying Safety and Health Act 1999) is desirable A minimum of 8 -10 + years’ experience in operation of mining and quarrying equipment including HME and crushing and screening plant Experience in Risk Management and Assessments Safety and Auditing experience Demonstrated knowledge of the Resources, Quarry and Extractive Industry Excellent communication skills Excellent report writing skills Our Benefits at SLR include: Our culture is unique where we work together to collaborate on projects to get the best possible outcome for our clients.
