This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team, ensuring the efficient operation of the depot while maintaining Go West’s strategic and business objectives.About the role: The Operations Coordinator will be responsible for providing support to ensure the depot operates at full capacity through effective planning, directing, and coordinating transportation operations. The role also involves advising and assisting employees to maintain a productive, efficient, and safe work environment while ensuring compliance with Western Australian Health and Safety Standards.Key Responsibilities include: Operations Coordination: Manage inbound queries, driver relations, and client interactions across the Southwest region. Fleet & Driver Management: Coordinate driver rosters, fleet allocation, and onboarding of new drivers for long-term, short-term, and ad hoc assignments. Team Leadership: Foster a collaborative team environment, providing leadership, guidance, and ensuring high team morale. Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to Drug and Alcohol & Fatigue Management policies and all relevant HSE requirements. Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain and build strong relationships with key clients, handle quotations for Self-Drives and Charters, and manage compliance audits such as Client weekly, monthly & annual audits. Administrative & Financial Oversight: Approve timesheets, manage resource allocation, and uphold fiscal and administrative policies. Systems & Technology: Proficiency in Go West and client software systems to ensure efficiency in transport operations. About you: Essential: 2+ years of experience in a similar role, strong organisational and communication skills, and the ability to work autonomously. Desirable: Experience in the transport industry, knowledge of Charter Management Systems (CMS), and a background in fleet management.
