Role Description The Operations & Traffic Manager for CHEP's Media team ensures the efficient management of workflows, resource allocation, and project timelines to support the team's delivery of high-performing media strategies and campaigns. The main role is to oversee the coordination of tasks across team members, monitor capacity, and prioritise work to meet deadlines and client expectations. This role is crucial in optimising operations, resolving bottlenecks, and supporting the team's ability to deliver impactful media solutions efficiently and effectively. Responsibilities Workflow and Resource Management Task Allocation: As the central point of briefing for our clients Media team, assign tasks to team members based on their expertise and availability. Capacity Planning: Monitor workloads to ensure team members are neither underutilised nor overburdened. Resource Optimization: Ensure resources, including tools and technology, are effectively utilised to meet project goals. Project Scheduling and Coordination Traffic Management: Prioritise incoming requests and ensure work is routed to the appropriate team members. Cross-Team Collaboration: Facilitate communication between the media team and other departments (data, account management, strategy, etc.) to align goals and timelines. Process Optimization Workflow Streamlining: Identify inefficiencies in existing processes and implement solutions to improve operational effectiveness. Standard Operating Procedures: Develop and document SOPs for campaign planning, execution, and reporting. Communication and Stakeholder Management Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the central point of contact for internal teams, clients, and external group teams. Feedback Management: Ensure client and stakeholder feedback is incorporated into deliverables promptly. Tracking and Reporting Performance Monitoring: Track the progress of media campaigns and ensure they meet objectives and KPIs. Reporting: Generate reports on resource utilisation and department outcomes for leadership review. Team Support and Development Training and Onboarding: Facilitate onboarding for new team members and provide training on workflows and tools. Conflict Resolution: Address bottlenecks or challenges within the team to maintain smooth operations. Tools and Technology Platform Management: Oversee the use of media planning and reporting tools to optimise campaign tracking. Tool Integration: Evaluate and recommend tools or platforms to improve operational efficiency. Compliance and Documentation Policy Adherence: Ensure all team operations comply with organisational policies and industry standards. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth execution of media campaigns, balancing strategic priorities with operational efficiency to deliver impactful results for clients.
